We hope our stories help shed some light and help you with your issues. These are our own experiences and they reflect what we have seen and done over the past months and years with particular focus on our beautiful children.

Dylan's Story
Welcome to the Smith family. We are the very proud parents of Maddie aged five and Dylan 19 months. Dylan has Down’s syndrome, although we prefer to use the term “Up” syndrome as there has been no point since Dylan’s arrival that we have felt “down”...
Evan's Story
Well I suppose it wasn’t meant to be, I was kind of hoping for a Valentine’s Day baby. But as she wasn’t due for another 2 weeks I prepared a meal for my wife. Soup to start followed by salmon and a lemon tart with heart shaped strawberries dipped in chocolate for dessert, all washed down with a bottle of pink bubbly. Half way through dinner my wife started to have some contractions, my Valentines Baby may be here after all!
Freddie's Story
When our first child was born in September 2005, we had no idea that he was going to have Down's syndrome. We’d opted out of the triple test, but had a nuchal scan, numerous ultra sounds and a 4D scan done. With us both being 27, we never thought that something like Down's syndrome would affect us. We used to talk about the ‘delivery room shock’ but now we prefer to talk about Freddie’s arrival as more of a surprise!
