Stanwick 10k Run 2009
Somehow, we did it again!! With some great support from firends of group members who turned up from as far afield as Bristol and Bradford, the Ups 'n' Downs 'athletes' completed the Stanwick 10km road race, again raising in excess of £2,000 for the charity in the process.

Pictured above are our intrepid runners shortly after their triumphant burst across the finish line.
Special mentions must go to Tom Rees and Craig Jones who completed the race in under 46 minutes, finishing ahead of many professional club runners whilst Adele Rees, with the support of Clare Murray took more than 6 minutes off her 2008 time!
A huge thanks from all runners however to those who supported us via sponsorship or by taking part, the Stanwick Race is one of our key annual fund-raisers and has once again delivered some great income to the charity.
