England World Cup Heroes

An absolutely unforgettable night was enjoyed by over 80 members and friends of Ups 'n Downs as four of Englands greatest footballers recalled stories and memories of their appearances in four World Cup Finals.

Kenny Sansom (Espana '82 and Mexico '86), Peter Shilton (Mexico '86 and Italia '90), David Platt (Italia '90) and Graeme Le Saux (France '98) were our very special guests for an evening kindly hosted by Gala Casino in Northampton.

Supported by comedian Steve Tandy, the four legends undertook an hour-long question and answer session in an evening never to be forgotten. Former Chelsea and Italy midfielder and current MK Dons manager Roberto Di Matteo was also on hand to draw the evenings raffle.

Guests enjoyed a wonderful four-course dinner before the entertainment began and funds to the charity were further boosted with a silent auction kindly provided by Jamie Keeble.
